DIS & CIMATECH at ELECOMP 2011

It was already the third time and year that CIMATECH presented products of Scandinavian Conference Specialist Danish Interpretation Systems (DIS) at ELECOMP Show in Tehran. CIMATECH focused on displaying portable as well as flush-mount units of the fully digital DCS 6000 System.

Highlight on the booth was GM 6620 Shotgun Microphone on FC 6020 and FD 6120 Conference Units and the “Farsi Language Font” available for DC 6990P Touch Screen Units.

Managing Director of CIMATECH Mr. Amir Kord and his team especially appreciated the personal support of DIS Area Sales Manager Chris Hellmuth who came personally to assist the exclusive distributor on site.

Technical Seminar, Moscow, Russia

November 21st and 22nd, Moscow, Russia was the scene for our first DIS, Technical Seminar out of our Danish office.
Two days with basic training, similar to the training we normally do in Copenhagen, Denmark, for a small group of people.
The Technical Seminar was very well-received from all of the attendees and showed that there is a great need for local product support why we will se to, that local Technical Seminars will be a part of our program in the future.

Audiotonas, our Lithuanian distributor, provides Democratic views.

Lithuania is half way through an EU funded project, witch provides the Lithuanian people with a better insight into the workings of its local government.

Our DIS Lithuanian distributor, Audiotonas, has so far won 30 of 60 contracts for self-government institutions, - all with equipment from DIS.

So far, Audiotonas has installed about 70 DIS DC6990P and around 250 DM6680P portable conference units with voting across the projects. A further 400 DIS CM/DM610F and CM/DM6560F flush mount conference units with voting has also been installed across the regions.

The DIS equipment handles all from streaming to archiving software, and the document management system makes sure that the Lithuanian people can se the voting results online straight after the meetings.

We hope that Audiotonas will win the remaining contracts and we are looking forward to providing the DIS equipment.

November 2011, DIS Sales Manager Angelika Ørnfelt and our new employee in DIS-RUS, technical engineer Mr. Vasily Ermackov, attended ISR 2011 Moscow, Russia.

Our new software SW6000 Conference Management Software v5.5 was presented and received with great positive response from our partners whom also were very pleased with the opening of our Competence and Training Centre-DIS RUS.


		DIS at The university of Newcastle, Australia Professional Audio Technology Pty Ltd announced today that they have delivered and commissioned a large DIS system for the new conferencing and function centre at the University of Newcastle. The DIS system - consisting of a CU6011 Central controller unit and 28 x DC6990P dual delegate units with touch screen controls - will be used for a variety of applications including council meetings, corporate seminars and of course university functions and lectures. The DIS system was integrated into a sophisticated video system which automatically provides video of each delegate or chair person when speaking. In addition the system provides voting, VOX activation, agenda handling and of course remote meeting administration. Read More..

		Successful Performance at Infocomm MEA 2011 There was hardly any time to relax for the exhibition team during the 5 days of the 1st InfoComm Middle East & Africa which has been held during GITEX exhibition in Dubai from 9th – 13th October 2011. DIS Middle East had been supported by various colleagues from the Headquarter in Copenhagen incl. two Managers from the International Rental Division. A fair amount of new potential leads from various countries in the region was received, but besides this a lot of existing DIS Partners came to see how DCS 6000 can be controlled by an iPad now.


		DIS at Lyon, France The Rhone-Alpes region is ranked as the second region of France in term of economy, area and population (over 6 Million people).The regional agglomeration of Lyon is the third in France after Paris and Marseille. The new "Hotel de Région Rhone-Alpes" building is part of Lyon Confluence urban project a completely new redesigned 150 ha area which is the extension of the city centre and covers all the southern tip of Lyon’s central peninsula. Around 2000 people are working here to manage the tasks delegated to the regions. The DIS DCS600 conference system is spread between the hemicycle with 300 DC6990P units and 10 rooms with a total of 150 DC6120P units. All is interconnected between two control rooms to offer the greatest flexibility and independence of use. AV facilities were specified by Ducks Sceno and installed by Audio Equipment. 		DIS at 2011 Integrate show in Sydney DIS and Australian distributor PAT (Professional Audio Technology Pty Ltd.) joined forces at the Integrate 2011 show in Sydney recently. Displayed at the show was a simple version of the DIS fully digital conference system the DCS6000 including voting and other options, using the DC6990P touch screen unit, the delegate unit DM6680P and the GM6523 XLR gooseneck microphones, cabled with CAT5e. The DIS DC6990P unit is unique due to it can be configures as chairman, delegate or dual delegate on the spot and also function as a microphone controller! The interest at the show this high quality and truly versatile system was satisfactory and DIS is set for further growth in the Australian conferencing market. See more here...
