Dis PRESENTATION IN RUSSIA

EMAG - our DIS distributor in Russia - hosted a successful presentation of the new DIS generation, showing all the possibilities at the Russian market

The presentation event «DIS Conference Systems: A new generation of possibilities on the Russian market" was held to introduce the participants to the trends and the future opportunities on the developing Russian conference and congress market, to tell about new product and the advantages of the DIS equipment. The agenda have included four thematic sections. It was a review of world-wide DIS installations by area sales manager at DIS ms. Danuta K. Ledin and a review of trends and opportunities on the conference market and a walk-through of the DCS 6000 digital conference system by mr. Sergey.Sharonin, EMAG. In the breaks and between the presentations the participants could see the DIS products, have a demonstration of the equipment and a technical discussion with Anja Louise Schmidt, DIS product support. The main presentation was held by Sergey Sharonin, president of EMAG and one of the most well-known experts of corporate communication systems on the Russian market. He has been in the business for more than twenty years and is a coauthor of two books and author of more than 100 articles. One of the first examples of the new era, Sharonin talked about, is the DIS DCS 6000 conference platform and the new DC 6990P that will change conferences with a color touch screen and software-activated functions. He also presented the digital IR language distribution system with quality of the sound at a rate of mp3 and new version of the central unit CU 6005 for building a economical solution. For system integrators and installers the DCS 6000 system brings new opportunities for the market and for the customers. DCS 6000 brings top level quality sound, extensibility, reliability and functionality, as well as a new level of simplicity and ease of use. At the end of his presentation Sergey Sharonin talked about fourth generation (4G) conferencing. Systems will be more integrated by electronic collaboration, unified communications and videoconferencing and corporative IT systems (for instance broadcast, archiving and user access to public conference archives). The DIS DCS 6000 will before the end of 2007 give the user 4G functionality.				CEO of EMAG mr.
